Trim My Crib™ is a design-build interior detail company in Venice, FL, known for custom media walls, accent walls, accent ceilings and outdoor wood ceilings.
Sanibel’s island pace and vegetation-heavy lots favor painted porch ceilings, soft white beams, and restrained oak. Dark heavy grids rarely match the wildlife-refuge lifestyle. After rebuild cycles, many owners want overhead craft that feels calm and discussable—not themed.
Porch and lanai wood do daily work here. Capture existing fans, roof pitch, and outdoor dining spots before choosing honey planks versus painted soft white. Keep indoor beams related so the house does not change personality at the threshold.
